About this artwork
A body passes through a wall saturated with images, slogans, and faces. The passerby's blurred movement carves out a moment in this visual chaos, as if the city itself hesitated between absorbing it or letting it slip away. Around him, posters pile up, contradict each other, respond to each other: political injunctions, anonymous cries, fragments of stories pasted one on top of the other.
Who influences whom — the wall or the one who crosses it?… Is it the passerby who disturbs the surface, or the surface that shapes him?
In this collision between human speed and graphic saturation, something falters: our ability to remain distinct in a landscape that engulfs us with signs. Are we still singular presences, or are we becoming silhouettes absorbed by the great urban collage?
