About this artwork
In this bronze work, I sought to capture the depth of a moment suspended in time. 'A pause', which allows one to escape and settle into a reverie. Each bust is a window into a soul, capturing an eternal moment of contemplation or inner turmoil.

Caroline Champetier de Ribes is a sculptor and designer. Coming from a family of watercolor architects, she began drawing as a teenager, then a few years later, she began sculpting. She works with different materials: plaster, concrete and earth. She likes the raw and natural aspect of each material, which she wishes to preserve as is. She seeks to show through the very essence of each material, our own essence.
This research is also found in his drawings made in ink and watercolor.
His works, expressive and evocative, combine the poetry of materials and the echo of tales, revealing a deep and universal inner narration.
