About this artwork
This particular painting reminds me of a house I lived in Acapulco years ago. It was bright and airy and had a beautiful bay view where I could watch the ships come and go. Even though the reds, blues, and pinks of its decor were overwhelming, the house had a sense of peace to it...with its climbing buganvilia, white stucco, and rock staircase.
