About this artwork
There is something tactile and warm about stucco and adobe homes. There is a feeling of agedness and craftsmanship...of wisdom and history in the walls. This painting has tones of blush/cream, brown, rust in watery layers as well as modern shapes which are reminiscent of Spanish Colonial architecture. Simple but rich in texture and tone.
