I made this work on commission. The buyers wanted through an abstract painting rediscovered a part of the history of Marseille, a unique creation that evokes this lively, cosmopolitan city, between land and sea. I mixed acrylic with sand to create a rough and palpable texture that evokes the primitive energies of the earth.
