About this artwork
This is an acrylic painting of the Twin Towers that is symbolic of the 911 attacks. There is an evil demon head poised to bite the towers right where they were hit by the airliners, while smoke seems to pour from the sides, and this image appeared spontaneously while I painted in my automatic painting state that acts similarly to automatic writing by tapping into the inner self for inspiration or information. When I noticed the demon that appeared…
in the clouds while painting, as I often do when noticing such subconscious images, I then incorporated it into my composition.
