About this artwork
This portrait of Nikola Tesla was first drawn on canvas paper followed by endless glazes in acrylic. I first became interested in Tesla when I was turned on to the so called zero-point energy movement that is on the internet by a friend. I wondered if it all was a scam or if there was any truth to the theories and claims that I read about, which led me to start studying mathematical physics again. This in turn led to a mathematics degree, a master's…
degree, and a new career in teaching math. I did a research paper on Tesla at Averett University, and discovered that he was once the most famous scientist in the USA, but was left penniless and all but forgotten by J. P. Morgan. He also invented almost every electrical device that makes the modern world possible.
