About this artwork
Science Fiction: MARRY A ROBOT, OK OR NOT?
By Chen Hao (aka CH), USA
Chapter 6: THE WEDDING
The traditional ethnic wedding made Venus feel the similarities and differences between the East and West humans’ celebrations.
On the wedding night, Venus looked at JJ for a long time, and then asked slowly: "Why do you love me?"
“Love your beauty and difference!” he replied.
“Difference?” Venus didn’t understand.
JJ frowned and explained: "Our human marriage… is essentially composed of a set of material conditions with an Expiration Period and is wrapped by a Marriage Certificate without an Expiration Period.”
She nodded in agreement.
JJ continued: "However, once the group of material conditions gradually expired, this challenged the authority of the Marriage Certificate..."
"And our robots won't be like this," Venus took the message, "This is why your humans only make us the Emotional Type."
"Maybe it is." He said.
The two suddenly gave a burst of laughter...
