This is a painting of a rose at sunset that I grew in my garden in Oregon. The light was streaming through the petals and I found the colors so nourishing and full of joy. If I were ever to keep a painting for myself, it would be this one. This painting is oil on museum wrap canvas and painted around the edge so no framing is needed.
