Christelle Duval develops an artistic practice at the intersection of photography and visual abstraction. Her work is rooted in an experimental approach where the photographic image is never an end in itself, but rather a material to be transformed, displaced, and recomposed, without artificial intelligence. Starting with scenes that are sometimes ordinary or fragments of reality, she reshapes the image to create open compositions, free from imposed narrative. This approach places central importance on interpretation and appropriation by the viewer, who is invited to construct their own perception. Trained in graphic design, she combines technical rigor with poetic flair in a sensitive exploration of structure, formal balance, visual rhythm, and chromatic tensions.
His work invites us to slow down our gaze, opening a space for dialogue between the visible and the imaginary. It is also nourished by a musical sensitivity attentive to rhythms, movements, and variations.
