About this artwork
“All Is Fine” is an original work created on canvas board, in 25 x 25 cm format, using mixed media combining acrylic paint, acrylic ink, marker and adhesive tapes.
The composition features an iconic figure from popular culture, deliberately repurposed and integrated into a graphic universe made of overlays, geometric patterns and urban textures.
The multiple exaggerated arms and gestures establish a dynamic, almost mechanical visual rhythm, contrasting… with the ironic and ambiguous textual statement "ALL IS FINE".
The successive layers of color, collage, and freehand lines evoke city walls, torn posters, and the visual saturation of urban space. The work plays on the contrast between an apparent pop lightness and a more critical reading, questioning the repetition of images, the mask of the smile, and the illusion of stability in a fragmented world.
