About this artwork
For once, this drawing is the evocation of a childhood memory: the last memory with my father alive. He took me that evening to a carousel (caterpillars) where I shut myself away in its hollow. This square of the "Champ de Mars" in Vienne (Isère) seemed immense to me and when we arrived at the entrance of the funfair, a character was swimming in a sort of aquarium lit by a yellow light. This scene has always remained magical since that time.
