“Unwind” gets it’s name directly from the composition: the central area of paint and action slowly and gracefully twists and turns it’s way from the top of the 36x48” vertical canvas, all the way down in a slow undulation. It’s like taking a deep breath, and mentally relaxing yourself. Pretty light blues are mixed with whites and warm grays. Bits of black peek through from the underpainting, and small amounts of beige/gold is on top. Paint is applied…
with a wedge tool in most of this painting, which gives the distinctive feeling. This 36x48” vertical painting is acrylic and mixed media on stretched canvas. The edges are painted, and it is wired and ready to install.
