About this artwork
I began painting when I retired from journalism (PBS &CNN) in 2000. While I have been inspired by landscape and plein air painting, the firehose of fascism in America really shocked and saddened me. With the daily assault on our American Democracy I felt compelled to create art that was relevant to our collective struggles to SAVE DEMOCRACY.
This series had it’s debut exhibition at Alki Arts Gallery in Seattle and I have now partnered with Singulart… to inspire our collective consciousness to resist tyranny and fight for freedom. Thank you for your interest and support.
