About this artwork
I began painting when I retired from journalism (PBS &CNN) in 2000. While I have been inspired by landscape and plein air painting, the firehose of fascism in America really shocked and saddened me. With the daily assault on our American Democracy I felt compelled to create art that was relevant to our collective struggles to SAVE DEMOCRACY.
