About this artwork
A stable, multi-layer construction of concrete, polyurethane foam, heavy canvas, mounting adhesive, resin, acrylic, iron particles, clear coat and aluminium.
Further oxidation of the iron particles is stopped by multiple sealing and the rough, rusty surface does not stain.
The aluminum is untreated and naturally protected against further corrosion. The bright shine and strong contrast to the rough, matt rust body is preserved forever.…
The sculpture is signed and weighs approximately 12 kg. It can also be placed in a humid environment and in sheltered outdoor areas.

« My rather unconventional technique arises from the intention to let the change of the material to the work flow freely. »
The free use of one's own resources is the fundamental creative disposition in Robausch's work.
His techniques and use of materials are also peculiar.
Standing outside the traditional art world, Robausch goes and thinks in an open and unsupported way.
Sculptures, wall objects and relief-like panel paintings are created entirely from within the individual.
Robausch also likes to rework his own works from earlier times, deforming and retuning them.
The translation of the mood of his physical works into digital, animated works sometimes seems strangely alien.
Currently, his original, very material-oriented working method is unfolding again with the "Future Origin" series.
The unpredictable immediacy seems to shine through these enigmatic, relief-like panel paintings.
