About this artwork
Based on his honeymoon to the Outer Banks, North Carolina. Hipsher and his new bride stayed in Duck, NC, but travelled up to Corova Beach on their first day for its sparseness and wide open beaches. He lost his wedding ring in the ocean that morning and wondered if it was an omen. Turns out it was. Oh, well. Life goes on. The saving grace from it all is a son named, "Banks". The visuals across the top read of tragedy, sadness, other men, and his…
beloved ex-wife.
