About this artwork
Dedicated to a time long ago (April - July '83) when Hipsher lived in Key West with his gay college roommate. It was the 9 weeks prior to his entering US Navy bootcamp. It was a crazy, magical time on that island. He misses his pal, Roger. Roger passed in '05 from AIDS. He was a special soul - always daring Hipsher to chase his art dreams.
