Cieu is a French painter who has exhibited nationally, as well as in the Netherlands and the United States. Recurring themes in his works include invasions of stormtroopers from Star Wars, graphic suites of butterflies, and his evolving series ‘Birds sing for fake’. Cieu insists that there are many messages in his works that will only make sense with your own vision. His pieces are produced with the ‘impatience of acrylics’ and a little oil, he also sketches and writes on his canvases.
