About this artwork
Surfaced is part of this body of work titled, Vision of Landscape, in response to sketchbook drawings made on location along the English Cornish Coast. Revisiting particular landscape features that have a profound effect on me. A particular rock formation that I was compelled to draw and to translate into this ambiguous painting.
