Deep Atlantic blue meets light sandy tones, reminiscent of a coastal landscape seen from a bird's-eye view. Flowing layers of color, delicate branching patterns, and luminous transitions create the impression of tides receding and returning to the shore. Between movement and stillness, a scene unfolds that is both powerful and calming.
The work was inspired by the coasts of Portugal and the ever-changing traces the sea leaves in the sand. The tides… follow their own rhythm. They come and go, reshaping, carrying away, and returning. This natural dynamic became the starting point for a personal reflection on change, new beginnings, and the ability to find oneself again after turbulent times.
"Where the Tide Returns" is symbolic of those moments when clarity returns. It represents rediscovering one's inner direction after periods of uncertainty.
