About this artwork
The flowers in our garden constantly provide me with new subjects for my photography. However, my photography is more than simply documenting a snapshot; it transforms my images into emotions and feelings, into a language that speaks through pictures.
An extraordinary black and red tulip is currently blooming in our garden. In this photo, it looks as if mysterious eyes are watching me from inside the tulip. I've edited the photograph again to give… the impression that it was painted with acrylics on canvas.
The picture is hand-signed, limited edition and delivered as a giclée print on canvas in a black shadow gap frame.
Since each image in the edition is commissioned and printed separately, variations in color and image cropping may occur.
