The flowers in our garden constantly provide me with new subjects for my photography. However, my photography is more than simply documenting a snapshot; it transforms my images into emotions and feelings, into a language that speaks through pictures.
An extraordinary black and red tulip is currently blooming in our garden. Its triple-layered blossoms change every day, inspiring me to photograph them in a small series, each time in a different way.… This image was created using a tunnel filter, allowing only a glimpse of the flower in the center of the tunnel. The individual colors radiate outwards from the center, magnetically drawing the eye. What secrets might lie within this tulip?

In my work I explore the transformation of natural forms and everyday visual worlds through the interplay of painting, photography and digital processes. I work with watercolor, acrylic painting, abstract photography and digital media. and develop hybrid compositions that lie between traditional painting and contemporary image design. Many of my works originate from photographs that I take myself and which are often Fragments of nature, textures, or fleeting visual moments are captured. These images serve as a starting point for a process of reinterpretation, in which painting, digital manipulation, and abstraction gradually transform the original source material. Through this multi-layered approach, familiar elements are transformed into new visual landscapes that oscillate between reality and fantasy.
