The flowers in our garden constantly provide me with new subjects for my photography. This time, I photographed and digitally manipulated our camellia. The camellia's vibrant colors hint at the approaching summer. And the title "Jumping Jack," which spontaneously came to mind, represents the many outdoor activities we can enjoy in the summer.
The picture is hand-signed and limited edition and comes in a black shadow gap frame.

In my work I explore the transformation of natural forms and everyday visual worlds through the interplay of painting, photography and digital processes. I work with watercolor, acrylic painting, abstract photography and digital media. and develop hybrid compositions that lie between traditional painting and contemporary image design. Many of my works originate from photographs that I take myself and which are often Fragments of nature, textures, or fleeting visual moments are captured. These images serve as a starting point for a process of reinterpretation, in which painting, digital manipulation, and abstraction gradually transform the original source material. Through this multi-layered approach, familiar elements are transformed into new visual landscapes that oscillate between reality and fantasy.
