About this artwork

“Energy and light” is a monochromatic work where the sign and the drawing are totally in symbiosis, in an almost three-dimensional game. In front of the painting, the viewer can see or imagine the birth and processing of the metal, in ribbons that unwind freely creating effects of light and shadow. In this work I poured all my passion for abstraction and minimalism, working with many materials including acrylics, enamels and pigments to create an… overall fusion with the metal sheet. The meaning of the work is linked to energy and purity, distinctive elements of metal. My abstract-informal art is based on matter in comparison with color; in evolving towards a new experience with metal it has moved towards matter and light. I recreated the color of the sheet so the work seems to be born from the material itself. The mirror frame of the same color embellishes the work making it one of a kind.
