« Experimentation without fear of error, art as a result of how matter used becomes expression and stimulates the senses »
Claudio Boczon is an experienced Brazilian painter whose works have featured in prizes, publications and exhibitions across the country. He composes experimental paintings that play on aspects of abstraction and collage, drawing much inspiration from 20th century movements such as Tachisme and Arte Povera. He re-purposes found objects, recycling both physical items and the concepts they carry, to achieve an artistic style that showcases strong physicality, intriguing layering and conceptual depth.
