About this artwork
“Frozen in Time” is an exploration of motion, emotion, and memory — a moment caught between chaos and calm. Through sweeping gestures and vibrant contrasts, I sought to embody the feeling of a suspended instant: a heartbeat held, a thought interrupted, a pulse of energy lingering in space. Layers of crimson, magenta, and black emerge and dissolve into each other, forming an abstract language of rhythm and depth.
The work reflects my ongoing fascination… with the impermanence of experience — how moments blur, fragment, and reform within our perception. Acrylic paint allows for immediacy and transparency, letting the brushwork remain visible as evidence of the painting’s evolution. Each stroke carries both intention and spontaneity, creating a visual dialogue between control and release.
