About this artwork
This painting is my exploration of the dialogue between turbulence and calm. I used deep, layered strokes of teal and blue to embody the restless energy of the sea, while the warm golden light on the horizon represents a moment of clarity breaking through. For me, the ocean is a metaphor for the inner landscape of emotions — constantly shifting, sometimes stormy, yet always holding the potential for renewal and peace.
I wanted to capture that fleeting… moment when the sky meets the water and everything feels suspended between chaos and serenity. It’s about resilience, the cycles of change, and the quiet strength that emerges when light and shadow coexist.
