About this artwork
This painting is my response to the rhythm and energy of the city. I used bold, layered blocks of color to capture the way urban life feels — chaotic yet structured, overwhelming yet alive with possibility. Each building becomes less about architecture and more about personality: some vibrant and expressive, others muted and hidden in shadow.
For me, the city is both a maze and a canvas of human stories. By exaggerating colors beyond realism, I… wanted to reveal the pulse beneath the concrete — the emotions, movements, and contrasts that make city life both exhausting and exhilarating. It’s a reflection of how I see the urban landscape: not as steel and stone, but as a patchwork of moods, memories, and endless energy.
