"A narrative that invites you into the workshop and the mystical philosophy behind creation:"
Human existence constantly oscillates between opposing forces: light and shadow, the dense and the subtle, consuming passion and the abyss that silences. This work arises from the need to inhabit that intermediate space, the precise center where opposites meet and collide.
In the background of the piece, the canvas is divided into two large zones of… power. On the left, a deep, visceral, and magmatic red evokes primordial fire, the wound, or the life force. On the right, a dark, textured, and dense mass represents the mystery of the night, the hidden, and the unconscious. Framing this duality, a rough texture in ivory tones envelops the scene as if it were an alchemical substance in the process of petrification, a sacred boundary containing chaos.
From the very center of that chasm, the hand emerges. It belongs to neither side; it arises from the union of both.
Constanza Victoria Tubio, founder of PanteraSama Studio (a boutique gallery/atelier in Buenos Aires), uses clay, oil, acrylic, and mixed media, fusing her background in UX/UI design and psychology to create deeply introspective and conceptual art. Her techniques range from expressionism and visionary to digital experimentation, incorporating surreal and poetic elements with a structural rigor characteristic of design. Her works convey a powerful invitation to introspection, evoking inner transformations, nostalgia, and an emotional connection to the psyche and the collective unconscious.
