About this artwork
In my work, I combine engraving and aluminum printing to create a surreal-figurative scene that explores both the familiarity and strangeness of human behavior. It shows a dynamic dance floor where different couples - both humans and bears - dance together. The red and green tones underline the emotional dynamics and tension between the figures depicted. This could indicate a playful connection between humans and animals or be a metaphor for harmony…
and community, regardless of differences. This composition invites us to reflect on our animal instincts and their impact on our social interactions. It is a play with reality and fiction that challenges and fascinates the viewer at the same time.
