Choosing a subject, support, a dimension does not happen by chance: the result of the full subjectivity of the unspeakable.
“Cristoforo paints for his and the observer's genuine pleasure: he gives reflections and curiosities. the strength of the homeland but the heterogeneity of the topics addressed is the symptom of a profound personality, multifaceted in interests and sensitivities, gained through a rich experience made up of encounters and places.… It is constant research, an expression of tireless will for ever new experiences. And all this intrigues and stimulates "(Balice Nicola 2019)

Cristoforo Russo
Italy
« On the canvas we experience the oxymoron of the fusion between leap and fixity, between clamor and quiet: between reality and fantasy. »
Cristoforo Russo is an Italian artist who depicts the inspiring moments in life, from dazzling skies to human embraces. Working principally in oils, he uses soft yet lively brushstrokes and a warm, balanced palette to capture a dynamic play in light. For Russo, painting is ultimately a means to communicate Nature’s hold over him: the way in which it pushes him to renounce reason in favor of a sensitivity towards his fellow human beings.
