About this artwork
In creating this painting, I wanted to capture the magic of transformation. The gold leaf shimmer edges symbolize the golden spots (oxygen ports) on a chrysalis, symbolizing hope and renewal. The butterfly’s emergence—an uplifting reminder of beauty born through patience and change.
Don't fear change.
Set of 3 canvases, measures 16in x 20in (0.5in thick)
Acrylic paint with gold leaf embellished edges.
I could let AI write my descriptions, but I refuse. You’re gonna get the real me. I have a dark sense of humor, some would call it morbid, but I have a zest for life. I prefer my home to be dimly lit, but I love when sunlight comes piercing thru the windows, at dawn and dusk. The contrast between dark and light, between day and night. Not looking to make the most profound pieces. I just paint when I feel the urge.
I can’t convince you that you need my art. My only persuasion is the lack thereof. I don’t have a desire to over explain each piece; that’s for you to interpret. That’s the point. You either feel it or you don’t.
