About this artwork
This painting is a self-portrait of the artist from a time when a great change has taken place in her life. She symbolized this process with a cocoon from which a butterfly hatches. In terms of content, this work belongs to two other paintings entitled Rebirth and Mind Control. You can also see the two pictures in this series. In 2008 this style of painting was very innovative.
