About this artwork
The painting shows a woman trapped in a net that is just beginning to dissolve. The bright glow and the energy from her center is so great that she is able to burst the web. A male figure in front of the shop window, the glass of which has been broken, looks curiously at a barcode to find out something about the scene that is going on in front of him. The basis for this work was a specially made photo, for which the painter had herself wrapped in… a net. The artist painted the painting in Spain / Mallorca and it is part of a closed series of works. You can see all three works here.
