About this artwork
In crafting this gouache painting, I poured my soul into the brushstrokes, evoking a symphony of emotions. The interplay of figures and abstract elements dances across the canvas, stirring a narrative that is both personal and universal. The textures and colors meld, creating a captivating visual experience that speaks to the complexities of life and the beauty within its chaos. Bringing this artwork into your space invites an energetic dialogue,…
an ambiance that is thought-provoking and deeply felt.

« The moment a fairy tale moves from dark to light, the sound of the wind through the pines, the sentience of animals, far beyond the edge of the clouds. »
Daisy Clarke is a passionate British painter and a graduate of the Royal College of Art, who has widely exhibited her work throughout the UK. Influenced by the otherworldly stories she was enamored with in childhood, and additionally inspired by their dark undertones, she composes paintings that present paradoxes situated within and between fantasy and reality. Her subverted fairy lands appear intriguing, immersive, and deeply sensory.
