About this artwork
In this oil painting, I wanted to capture the hidden soul of electronic circuits, blending the abstract and the figurative. Each shape, color, and texture illustrates the vibrant and energetic life that pulses within these components. This work invites you to contemplate the secret beauty of technology, infusing your space with a modern and stimulating energy.
Dan Liefooghe, a painter with an atypical background, combines his experience as a violin maker and as an assistant to Marcel Berlanger with a jazz musical practice. He uses oils and old violin varnishes on canvas, exploring abstract figurative as well as realism; his works incorporate food themes or printed circuit patterns and are accompanied by titles with messages. Through an approach inspired by phenomenology, he seeks to convey the subtlety of perception and the poetry of the appearance of phenomena, arousing curiosity and contemplation in the viewer.
