About this artwork
There are beautiful Alps In the middle of Switzerland in the Sisikon area. My painting shows the Gitschen peak above Lake Urn seen from the village of Sisikon. I contemplated this view from the window of the train traveling from Lugano to Zurich. This charming mountain range became a pretext for me to search for a calm rhythm of colors and structure of the painting.
