Dane Shue is an American artist who has exhibited nationally and whose works have been featured in Vanity Fair Italy. His art explores themes relating to commercialization, consumption culture, the avant-garde, and pop culture. By using popular themes such as nostalgia and celebrity culture, and through overlapping themes and strategies, the relevance of the old allows for the investigation of the process of expectations. Shue employs Painting printmaking techniques and gestural painting in the creation of his vibrant compositions.
