Danelle Sabathier is a contemporary abstract painter based in Boulder, Colorado.

She began her studies in fine art before pursuing International Affairs and living in Paris for eleven years. After returning to the United States, she stepped away from painting for nearly two decades before returning with renewed focus.

She works in medium- and large-scale acrylic paintings, drawn to moments when pressure builds and begins to fracture, and to what endures afterward. Color functions as both emotion and structure, creating tension within saturated reds and deep blues held inside pared-back compositions. She layers, buries, and removes paint, allowing traces of earlier states to remain visible beneath the surface.

Her paintings are for people who have been marked by life and continue moving forward.

The work is not about resolution. It is about endurance inside instability.
