About this artwork
Inspired by my children, I wanted to create a piece that reflected their playful and lively spirits. To achieve this, I decided to use a unique technique—I coated the bottom of my children's feet with earth-based oil paint and had them walk across the canvas. This not only infused the artwork with a personal touch but also added an element of spontaneity and unpredictability to the creative process.
The resulting painting features a rich palette… of earthy tones like browns, golds, and tans, interspersed with pops of red, blues, grays, and whites. The multiple layers of paint, varying brushstrokes, and textured forms come together to form a visually captivating and emotionally evocative piece.
