About this artwork
In my work, a contemporary mosaic, I evoked the dynamism of the sea waves using materials such as Venetian glass pastes, marbles of various shades, bricks and ceramics glued to the rigid support with a cement mixture.
I tried to capture the fluid and incessant essence of the ocean, its waves symbolizing the constant challenges and renewals of life. Each wave represents a heartbeat, a new breath that brings energy and renewal to every environment… in which it is found.
