About this artwork
Locked! Locked! ... is an assemblage that falls under the category of "ScrapMetalArt." A mixed technique was used, combining modeling (plaster, foam, and filler) and object collage. The sculpture interprets the theme: "Hear nothing, see nothing, speak nothing" (based on the Japanese proverb "sanbiki no saru").
The eyes are screwed shut, the ears are sewn shut, a lock hangs in front of the mouth, and the key is in the head. The objects are located… on only one half, emerging from a zipper that acts as a transition. The bust has a metallic appearance. But the sculpture is ultimately lighter than it looks. It is reminiscent of steampunk, cyberpunk, and science fiction. A "metalhead" of a somewhat different kind.
You will receive a certificate of authenticity.

Daniela E. Hellerforth studied design and interior architecture. She realizes her art through drawings, paintings, sculptures, and photographs. Her main subjects are sculptural works and "three-dimensional paintings." Her works often have a metallic appearance—a characteristic stylistic device of her REALUSION® brand. They are often melancholic, dark, and occasionally dystopian, reflecting fantasy and mythical worlds and sometimes delving deeply into the world of human fears. Despite all their darkness, her works appeal through their unique aesthetic. The artist is dedicated to nature and environmental protection. Her goal is to trigger emotions and inspire reflection.
She has been participating in exhibitions since 2015 and is represented at art fairs and in collections.
"In my opinion, art has fulfilled its purpose when it reaches people, whether visually or acoustically, and triggers emotions – of whatever kind." (DΞH, 2015)
