With the work "The Silence of Sunset," I wanted to visually distill that magical and sacred moment that occurs when day gives way to evening. The painting was born from the need to capture the profound serenity found in the stillness of nature.
I wanted to represent the sunset not just as a chromatic event, but as an experience of inner peace. The image of birds perching on the… branches symbolizes the act of stopping and contemplating, as if nature itself were pausing to "admire the celestial spectacle."
Ultimately, I wanted the work to be a tribute to the profound connection with the world that one experiences in that moment. The painting is an invitation to let time stand still, to immerse oneself completely in the "silence of sunset," and to fill oneself with peace and gratitude for the magnificence of creation.
