About this artwork
This painting is the spark that ignited the entire series, my return to my roots after years of experimentation. I keep it on display at home because it transmits to me every day the creative calm that generated it.
The central figure represents winter awaiting spring, a moment suspended between stillness and desire. The flute he holds in his hands is a symbol of rebirth, of music that awakens. And that robin on his finger... for me, it represents… life looking to the future, youth that does not surrender to the cold. It's not just a winter landscape. It's an invitation to reflection, an embrace of childhood, of lost simplicity, of the resilience that accompanies us in the cycle of life. Every time I look at it, it reminds me that change is sweet, that hope is always there, even in silence.
