About this artwork
“The Queen” (together with the matching painting "The King") was made with a wink – the artist was inspired by an upcoming travel to London. The combination of the pure linen with bright, vibrant colours and charcoal marks makes “The Queen” an unusual and edgy artwork. Although being an abstract, the charcoal marks symbolize crown and a jewel necklace.
In contrary to the King`s crown the Queens crown is smaller, with some pink jewels and a feminine… shape.
Painted on self-stretched linen with transparent priming. Signed on the front and signed and dated on the back. Varnished with a matt varnish (Lascaux with UV protection). A professional hanger is already mounted, so "The Queen" is ready to hang.
