Dareen Abbas is a draftsman and sculptor, born in Syria and now based in Belgium, whose works have been exhibited in both Belgium and Taiwan. In her art, she materializes living experiences. The central themes explored in Abbas' compositions relate to time, space, and how we live within them. She divides her expression between two worlds, the first being ritualistic, and the second explores cyber-space or the digital image. She finds it engaging to create on the edge, between both worlds.
