About this artwork
With this artwork, I wanted to show the concept of a mirage, an illusion when what you see is not quite what it really is. First we see a picture in the style of abstract expressionism in the spirit of Jackson Pollock. However, looking closer, we can see a color composition appearing through abstract strokes, reminiscent, already, of the paintings of Mark Rothko.
