About this artwork
I painted this artwork during a vacation in Miami Beach. I used bright colors and gold leaf in order to convey the feeling caused by stunning sunsets at Surfside.
I used acrylic, gold leaf, gold and metallic paints, sand from the beach, resin cover, as only with them I can do to achieve the desired effect of brightness, ricnhess, color intensity and lightness.

Daria Bagrintseva, graduated from Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry - one of the most prestigious Russian art universities, is an experienced Russian-born painter whose work has featured in exhibitions, publications, and collections in Russia, USA, Germany, France, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Holland, Cyprus, and India. She has been awarded numerous national and international art prizes notably the American Art Awards and Milan International Art Award. Additionally, her paintings were acquired by the State Russian Museum and the Museum of Russian Art.
In her work, Daria explores a range of themes, from nude to landscape, Art Deco to abstract. Her artistic aesthetic is marked by intense colors and a sense of lightness.
