About this artwork
Born from my deep need to explore the textures and fluidity of human form, this sculpture is a true reflection of conflict and harmony. Using terracotta and clay, I have fashioned this bust to represent both the resilience and fragility of human existence. The streaks of color add a dimension of passion and turmoil, evoking a strong emotional impact on the viewer. Each part of this work is designed to enrich any space with an inspiring and thoughtful…
presence.

Dario Marcozzi is a Roman artist who has transformed a perceptual challenge into a creative force. Trained at the historic San Giacomo School of Art, he began his career as a sculptor, creating forms that appeal to touch and sight. Over time, he has expanded his expressive language to include painting, creating works that oscillate between abstract and figurative, always poised between matter and intuition.
His artistic research is fueled by constant experimentation. But what makes his path truly unique is his color blindness. His altered perception of color isn't a limitation, but an alternative lens. His works don't seek to imitate chromatic reality, but to reinvent it. For him, color is pure emotion, not classification.
